Arsi University Administration Building President’s Office Interior Design
Central opening and exposed stair slabs are enhanced through ceiling design, while the generous floor height adds refinement to the president’s office.

Arsi University President office interior design
Arsi University’s administration building interior presents significant design potential, driven by its distinctive architectural character and spatial qualities. At the heart of the building is a unique central opening that extends vertically through multiple floors, creating a strong visual connection between levels. This feature allows the meeting hall stair slabs to remain visible from the 4th floor, adding depth, transparency, and a dynamic sense of movement within the space.
Rather than concealing this defining element with a continuous ceiling treatment, the design approach deliberately enhances it through carefully articulated ceiling patterns that frame and emphasize the openness. This strategy not only preserves the architectural identity of the building but also enriches the overall interior experience.
Furthermore, the generous floor-to-ceiling height plays a crucial role in elevating the spatial quality, particularly within the president’s office. It introduces a sense of grandeur, elegance, and authority, contributing to a refined and distinguished environment that aligns with the importance of the space. Together, these elements create a cohesive interior that balances functionality with a strong visual and experiential impact.
